People We Admire: Holly Becker from decor8

Just like any other week, our Chalkboard China team was pinning away, when we came across Holly Becker. What kept us, and our designer Candace Jean, coming back was Holly’s obvious eye for design and color (notably anything pastel). Her Pinterest boards are curated to reflect just that and more. This award winning and bestselling author, journalist, interior designer and workshop leader started the blog decor8 as a place to share great finds, honest opinions, fresh decorating ideas, beautiful interior spaces, independent art,  unique design and articles meant to inspire readers to live a more fulfilling and creative life. Touting more than a million page views a month, it’s no wonder that decor8 is known as one of the leading design blogs.

On top this, Holly has worked with such big names as Real Simple and Domino magazine online. She was also a bi-weekly columnist for the Boston Globe Style & Arts section in which she reported current design trends. She’s also contributed to various niche magazines and books.
