Why We Love 100 Layer Cake
Whether it’s a birthday, wedding or anniversary, 100 Layer Cake is always there to help guide you through. So, is it any wonder that they are the next brand we are dying to talk about? If you’re familiar with them at all, you aren’t surprised.
Started in 2009 by designer friends Jillian Clark, Amanda Dawbarn and Kristina Meltzer, 100 Layer Cake has risen to be one of the top authorities on anything event. The site is full of vendor guides, DIY resources and even a Pop-Up Shop to provide a unique resource to help people plan any-sized event. A few of our favorite blog posts are:
- DIY direct from the farmer favors – This post proves that a sophisticated and inexpensive wedding favor is just as fun to make as it is to give away!
- Phoebe’s heart-themed first birthday from Camille Styles – One word, Hearts. We love the darling first birthday our dear friend Camille Styles threw for her adorable daughter.
- Backyard summer engagement party – We love how this adorable little backyard soiree was pulled together, and of course their creative use of chalkboards throughout.
We also can’t help but love their newest endeavor, 100 Layer Cakelet, a dedicated space that offers inspiration to couples after the newlywed glow has worn off. 100 Layer Cake has received numerous honors from Martha Stewart Weddings, The New York Times, InStyle Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, Daily Candy and many more!
Our favorite part is that their mission is bigger than party planning. They strive to help readers remember that all the tips, tutorials and crafting help comes down to one thing – love.
