Brands We Love: Our Favorite Brands from the International Home and Housewares Show
Every year, our team gets so excited around the International Home and Housewares Show held by the International Housewares Association. This annual show gives consumers the opportunity to see all the lifestyle and product trends of the year for all areas of the home conveniently under one roof. We loved discovering the top trends this year and a big thanks is in order to our friends at Good Housekeeping for the great recap!
Check out some of our faves that we’re simply gushing over:
Farberware Greengineering Mugs from Faberware
How can you NOT love a mug this cute and environmentally friendly? The trick with these mugs is once it comes time to toss them out, they break down in a landfill in only five years. They also come in great spring colors perfect with this year’s color trend. At Chalkboard China, we believe keeping the environment clean is definitely a priority not only because it’s cool, but because we want the best for our families and those to follow. See how we like to keep it green at Chalkboard China!
Imusa Empanada Maker
Empanadas? So much yum! We love the featured empanada maker by Imusa at this year’s International Home and Housewares Show. It’s perfect for any happening hostess looking for a unique twist on party eats! You can stuff your empanadas with almost anything, spice them up and then display these sweet or salty treats at your next party. Try a Fiesta-themed lunch, display your various types of empanadas on our Plate or Charger, and then write out which kinds are featured on each piece. Ole!
This year trends for both the home and fashion, it’s all about brightening up with fun COLORS. We love the patterned pieces of Q Squared! Not only do they add color and texture to your place settings, but they match perfectly with popular colors, like Pantone’s Color of the Year, Tangerine Tango, and The Perfect Palette’s Wedding Color of the Year, Fig. We think their pieces are perfect for a bright lunch outdoors or even in a sunroom on a nice sunny day. You can add your own pop of color with our Seaside Plate as well. The bright aqua can be paired with muted tones like our Rich Cocoa or you can add a little vibrancy with our leafy Fern.
